I have been intimately involved with the Hindman Settlement School for the last few years. Located outside Hazard, KY, the school is devoted to serving those in eastern Kentucky with learning disabilities, especially those living with dyslexia.
Every time I have visited, I have been welcomed into the homes and lives of local residents and artisans, including Harvey Amburgey The following is a photographic sampling of my time with Harvey.
